COLE died at 2:30 a.m. today in his home at 831 West Maumee Street after an illness of two years. He was born Aug. 17, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar COLE of Fairfield. For a number of years he operated the Cole Dairy Company. He was a member of the First Baptist church and a former member of the Adrian Exchange Club. In February 1906 he was married to Florence JORDAN of Sand Creek who survives with one son, Lyle J. COLE of Toledo. He is also survived by one grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd LEWIS and Mrs. Carter JOHNSTON, both of Adrian; and two brothers, Harley COLE of Tecumseh and James COLE of Detroit. He was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Everiss Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond G. TAYLOR will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
