ADRIAN; Don Richard Schadewald, age 75, of Adrian died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005 
at his home.  He was born Aug. 27, 1929 [*birthdate was August 27, 1924] in 
Deerfield, Mi, to William and Mary (Hegy) Schadewald.  On Oct. 3, 1953 he 
married Norma Lee Richardson.  She preceded him in death on June 2 ?, 1966.  
On March 21, 1970 he married Ruth Moran and she survives.  He served in the 
U.S. Army.  Don was self-employed as a general contractor for several years 
and currently was employed with Stevenson Lumber in sales.  In Addition to his 
wife, he is survived by three sons, Jeff Schadewald and Carlena of West 
Branch, Russell Schadewald of Jackson, James Pate and his wife Cheryl of 
Adrian., five daughters Sandy Kudlac of Blissfield, Sherri Hughes of Adrian, 
Donna Dils and her husband Ron of Adrian, Marliyn Burger and her husband Hank 
of Adrian and Lori Deshler of Adrian; three brothers, Norman of Blissfield, 
Charles and his wife Fran of Adrian, and Stanley and his wife Shirley of 
Tecumseh, four sisters, Donna Case and her husband Ray of Adrian, Glenda 
Shirley and her husband Darwin of Florida, Maybelle Berry and her husband 
Gaylin of Blissfield and Carol Lash and her husband Ernie of Onsted; one 
sister-in-law Rhea Schadewald; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 
In addition to his first wife, Norma, he was preceded in death by two sons 
Gary Pate and Terry Alan in infancy, one grandson in infancy, one brother, two 
sisters and one sister-in-law.

Funeral services for Don will be held Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. 
John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Sarrault officiating.  Burial will be 
in Deerfield Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wed. from 6-8 p.m. and also 
on Thur from 2-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions my 
be made to Relay for Life or, St John's Lutheran Church Immanuel Lutheran 
Church, Blissfield, Lenawee, Michigan.
