He was born on April 13, 1924 in Edmore, MI, the son of Elmer and Violet (Lewis) Sinkey. He married Carol Hammack on May 3, 1975 and she survives. He worked at Tecumseh Products for over 40 years, was a member of the Tecumseh American Legion and attended the Tecumseh Friends Church. Chuch was an avid bowler for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing at their cabin in Rose City and attended numerous sporting events to watch his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by six dauthters; Linda Wolfe fo Mllington, MI, Janice (Frank) D'Erasmo of Carton Falls, NY, Nancy Sinkey of Grass Valley, Ca, Sue (Jim) Kirk, Kathy (Bill) Tuberville and Jackie (Mark) Perrin all of Tecumseh, one sister Ruth Anderson of Adrian, MI, twelve grandchildren; Matt (Cindy) Kirk, Kelli Kirk, Jason, Josh Jered and Carli Tubberville, Sarah Wolfe, Ben (Mandy) Wolfe, Phillip and Frank D'Erasmo, Shannon Sinkey and Jenny (Jeff) Jones, six great grandchildren, James Kirk, Mason Tubberville, Chante Blanchard, Jacob Hannibal, Bandon Alvarez, and Jillian Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Jean, one sister and one brother. Visitation for Chuch will be held on Sunday,May 6, 2007 at the Tecumseh Chapel for Handler Funeral HOme's from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7 at the Funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Kopka of Tecumseh Friends Church officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery with full Military Honors under the auspices of the Tecumseh American Legion and Tecumseh VFW. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
