On Dec. 10, 1851 she was married to Watson Burleigh, and they come here in 1869, residing also a short time in Adrian. Thery returned here and Mr. Burleigh died Jan. 10, 1870. Two children were born to them-Eben Burleigh, now of the Lamb Fence Co., Adrian, and Miss Nellie, a graduate of the Michigan college of medicine and surgery who died March 25, 1898. On August 24, 1871 she was married to Seymour Treadwell, one of the substantial farmers of this vicinity. She had three half sisters, two sisters, and one brother. Two of the half sisters survive her-one at Syracuse, N.Y., and the other at Plainville, same state. Mrs. Treadwell was for many years a faithful and zealous member of the Baptist denomination. She was a lady of admirable dignity, high womanly honor, a conscientious christian, and one whom the community held in greatest esteem. The sympathy of all is extended to the aged husband and one surviving son. FUNERAL AT HOME The funeral was held Thursday afternoon and many were present. The W.C.R.C. attended in a body and Grand Army veterans were pall bearers. Rev. E. J.
