Mrs. Thomas SMALLSHAW

Mrs. Harold MARVIN of Adrian has received word of the death Saturday in
San Diego, Calif. Of her grandmother, Mrs. Thomas SMALLSHAW. It occurred
at 12:30 a.m. Saturday. She was 85 years old.

Mr. And Mrs. SMALLSHAW made their home until five years ago at 112 South
McKenzie Street. Mr. SMALLSHAW operated a barber shop in Adrian for 50
years. Mr. And Mrs. SMALLSHAW had been making their home in California
with their daughter and husband, Mrs. Doris LASSEY and Tracey LASSEY.

Besides her husband Mrs. SMALLSHAW is survived by two daughters Mrs. Doris
LASSEY and Mrs. Clive (Myrtle) SPECK of Toledo; seven grandchildren and
20 great grandchildren.

Mrs. SMALLSHAW was a member of the Rebekahs, a past noble grand of the
organization, and a member of the O.E.S.

The body is at the Pacific Beach Mortuary at San Diego where the funeral
will be held Tuesday. The burial will be in San Diego.
