Funeral Services Will Be Held Saturday at Hemenway-Valentine Funeral Home

     Mrs. Nettie Thayer, aged 78 years, passed away about noon Wednesday, 
April 24th, 1935, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Horace Sayles, in Adrian, 
where she had been for the winter. She had been failing in health for some 
time and confined to her bed for the past five weeks.
     Mrs. Thayer, who was born on September 26th, 1856, had spent the greater 
part of her life in Deerfield. She was a member of the Eastern Stars, the 
Presbyterian church and the W.R.C.  She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. 
Sayles.
     The body was brought to the Hemenway-Valentine funeral home, where 
services will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. W. J. Prestidge 
will officiate.
