William G. Thompson was born on April 15, 1913 in Hudson, Michigan.  He died 
on April 27, 2004 at his home.  He was 91.

William was the third President of Thompson Savings Bank which was a family 
owned company.  He also attended Harvard Law School and served in the navy 
during World War II.  

Survivors include a nephew and family.  He was preceded in death by his 
parents, and a brother and sister-in-law.

Visitation will be Thursday evening at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in 
Hudson.  Funeral service will be at the Hudson First United Methodist Church 
on Friday afternoon.  Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with 
Military Rites by the American Legion.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hudson Public Library or the Hudson 
Educational Foundation.
