TUDOR of 318 Merrick Street, Adrian ,s centenarian, occurred this morning at 9 o ,clock in Bixby hospital where she had been a patient a few days. Celebrating her 100th anniversary last October, Mrs. TUDOR had been in remarkably good health until two weeks ago when she suffered a heart attack. Mrs. TUDOR was born Oct. 30, 1863. In 1870 she came to Adrian with her parents, attended Adrian schools and was at the time of her death Adrian high school ,s oldest alumna. On Nov. 15, 1887, she married Winfield S. TUDOR who was a telegrapher for the Wabash railroad. They lived in the West and Northwest for many years and before coming to Adrian were residents of Chicago for ten years. In 1929 they returned to Adrian and have since lived at the Merrick Street residence. Mrs. TUDOR was active in the First Methodist church and was a charter member of the W.S.C. S of that church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1940. One sister, Mrs. Martha WALKER, and one brother Wesley WILLETT also preceded her in death. Her only survivors are nephews. The body is at the Everiss Funeral Home. Arrangements for the services are not completed. - Adrian Daily Telegram, March 6, 1964 dz
