Mrs. Sarah Anna Van Doren died Friday morning at 4:40 at her home in Madison 
after a ten day illness of pneumonia.  She had been in poor health prior to 
the fatal illness.  For about 8 years, caused by a fall and a broken hip.  
Deceased was the widow of Francis Van Doren and she had been a resident of 
Lenawee County for over 55 years.  She was 78 years of age.  Having been born 
June 13th at Elmira N.Y.  One son Julius of Madison with whom she lived 
survives her.  A grandaughter is Mrs. Sadie Force and a niece is Mrs. Sarah 
Older, of this county.
