The Daily Telegram, October 9, 1995 Madison Center - - Rene G. Vuillemin, 87, of Madison Center, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, at Bixby Medical Center in Adrian. Rene was born on Aug. 24, 1908, in Nancy, France, to Gabriel and Angele Vuillemin. He came to the United States with his parents when he was 12 years old. That is when he met his wife as they attended the same grade school and she helped him to learn English. Rene has been married to Eileen Norman for 64 years. They were married on March 16, 1931. Renee retired from Bohn Aluminum as a Laboratory Technician. Mr. Vuillemin was an avid fisherman and hunter and a former member of the Adrian Eagles. Rene moved to the Adrian area 55 years ago from Toledo, Ohio. In addition to his wife, Eileen, he is survived by his daughter, Joyce Wilson of Land-O-Lakes, Mich. Mr. Vuillemin was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of the Braun Funeral Home, Adrian.
