CLARENCE LINDEN WEAVER

Mr. Weaver, Detroit manager of Verree & Conklin, Inc., representing The Detroit 
Free Press and other newspapers, died Sunday morning at the Women's Hospital of 
pneumonia, after a week's illness. Mr. Weaver was associated with The Detroit 
Free Press from 1909-1916, when he left to take over the Detroit office of 
Verree & Conklin. He was a member of the Board of the North Rosedale Park Civic 
Association, serving as President during 1924 and 1925. He was intimately known 
in advertising circles throughout the Middle West and the Pacific Coast because 
of his long association with newspapers. 
He is survived by his wife, Louise son Vincent and daughter Beverly as well as 
his father and mother Mr. Mrs. Bertram Weaver of Adrian; one brother and five 
sisters. Funeral services will be held from the residence 16196 Shaftesbury 
Road, Rosedale Park, at 2 P.M. Tuesday. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery.
