Additional Comments:
It seems that Lucy Carpenter is Lucy C. Brown, as listed on the Elisha Brown 
family marker, becuase her date of birth checks out to her age at date of 
death; also, in James Hogaboam's 1876 The Bean Creek Valley, page 49:  "Father 
Elisha Brown and family arrived at the house of his son-in-law, Noah Cressey."
