                      Marriage of Cynthia Scriven and George W Appletop

A Wedding--on Saturday last Cynthia Scriven of Madison made complaint before
Justice Robbins, against George W.
Appletop, of Adrian, charging him with being the father of a prospective
infant, which was soon to add its unit to the census .  George was brought up
and settled the matter by plunging, with Cynthia, into the sea of matrimony,
which was under the circumstances, exactly the correct thing to do.
