Edward C. Barnard.
Edward Charles Barnard was born August 28, 1859, in Conway township, 
Livingston county.  On Christmas Day, 1879, he was married to Miss Lucyann 
Finch at Fowlerville.
He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elsie Beatrice Anderson, in Lansing 
Thursday morning, April 12, at the age of 85 years, seven months and 14 days.
His wife passed away in 1936.  He leaves to mourn their loss a son, Harry L. 
Barnard of Battle Creek, and the daughter, 11 grandchildren, other more 
distant relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Vogt funeral home with 
Reverend Roy (initial illegible) Brown of Fleming officiating.  Burial was in 
Greenwood cemetery, Fowlerville.
