Mrs. Lucy M. Barnard.
Mrs. Lucy M. Barnard was born at Ontario, Canada, April 28, 1856 and died at 
the home of her son Harry Tuesday, March 3.
She came to Michigan with her father after the death of her mother, at the age 
of 3 years.  They lived in Ovid for about 9 years, then moved to a farm east 
of Fowlerville, where she lived until her marriage to Edward C. Barnard in 
1879.
They lived on a farm east of Fowlerville until 10 years ago when they sold it 
and made their home with their son and daughter.  She had been in poor health 
for the past ten years.
Besides the husband and son Harry of this village, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. 
Elsie Barry of Dimondale and other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
Funeral services will be held at the Vogt Funeral Home Friday, March 6, at 
2:00 P. M., Rev. Roy Brown officiating.  Interment in Greenwood cemetery.
