GRACE L. WALLACE

GRACE L. WALLACE of Fenton, March 26, 2007; Age 85; born June 17, 1921 in 
Pontiac, Michigan.
Daughter of the late Thomas and Cecilia Lewis; wife of the late James Gordon 
Wallace; mother of Sharon Wallace, Judy Craven-Oliphant (James), Larry Wallace 
(Diane) Yvette Wallace-Adams (Mark); grandmother of six and great-grandmother 
of twelve; sister of Alger Lewis (Ruth), Bruce Lamar Lewis (Cleo), Alfred Lewis 
(Sandy), Marcella Surdock, Martha Cooper, Ruth Fisher and the late Forest 
Lewis, Joseph Lewis, Joann Thom and Baby Delos Lewis; also survived by many 
nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. Mrs. Wallace was a very 
active member of Brighton Christian Community Church and loved teaching Sunday 
School. She was a member of the Brighton Antique Automobile Club, enjoyed 
quilting, cooking, antiques and especially loved children. Any stray that 
wandered by her house was always fed.
   
A Celebration of Grace's Life will be held Friday, March 30, 2007, 10:00 a.m. 
at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford. Rev. Alger Lewis 
officiating. Interment to follow at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens. The family 
will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 12:00 Noon-9:00 p.m. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the Infant Mortality Program. Envelopes available 
at the funeral home.
