Hatton, born September 6, 1813 England, died July 26, 1877, Howell, Livingston Co, MI. Married to Melvina (nee unknown) after 1846. Civil War veteran, raised Co. A, 22nd Michigan Infantry at Pontiac, Oakland Co, MI. Appointed by Pres. Andrew Johnson, Register of the Land Office 1866-1869, Huntsville, AL. Removed to Howell from Farmington, Oakland Co, MI 1870. Justice of the Peace, Livingston Co, MI 1873-1877. Originally interred Sec. B Lot 39. Disinterred after 1915 and moved to Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum where his wife Melvina, daughters Melvina and Eudora and their husbands George A. and James N. Sexton were interred. The mausoleum was demolished in the early 1970s. Entire family re-buried in Lot 549.
