Gordon's internment was at Fort Duffield, this monument is from that cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Fort Duffield is a Civil War Fort built in 1861. It is located in the County of 
Hardin, City of West Point, KY. Take 31W south and watch for the sign on the 
Left. Fort Duffield is located on top of a large hill and the cemetery with 34 
men is located on the hill just to the south of the Fort. The Fort Was manned 
by the 9th Michigan Infantry Regiment and an Artillery unit from Indiana.
