Dad,
Waxing the car with you and vacuuming the floor, 
getting that last speck of dust off the door.
Polishing the wheels and scrubbing the tires, 
then standing back and admiring the work of those kids that you sired.
Not a bad job you would say to us all, 
that's the one compliment that made us stand tall!
Then we'd start down the road turning heads as we went,
off to the next car show our energy spent.
The heads that we turned and the thumbs up that we got
were just part of the reward of working with Pops!
We miss you Dad.
