Additional Comments:
Joseph was born 25 Jun 1828 in Mackinac Island, Michigan the son of Isaac and 
Mary Babbien Blanchard.  He married Elizabeth Vallier May 1851 and his usual 
occupation was fisherman.  He died of consumption 29 Apr 1880 in Moran, 
Mackinac County, Michigan and is buried in Gros Cap Cemetery, Block 6, Lot 1
