She was the third of eleven children of this marriage. She married Joseph Edmund Claus in 1896 and they had one daughter, Luella Claus. On 20 Nov 1908 she married Louis Bolan at Gros Cap, Mackinac County, Michigan. Republican News, January, 1957: An article in the newspaper named Louis Bolan as the oldest resident of St. Ignace on his 93rd birthday A birthday celebration was held in the Gros Cap home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fitzpatrick on New Year's Day. Louis is also buried at Gros Cap Cemetery, Block 4, Lot 3. next to his first wife Nellie St. Louis Bolan. They had one son of this marriage, Eugene L. Bolan. Elizabeth died in 1945 in Saint Ignace and is buried in Gros Cap Cemetery, Block B, Lot 9 by her two children.
