Gerald A. Kwiatkowski, age 79, a 56 year resident of St. Clair Shores, died on 
Saturday, October 9 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born on April 19, 
1931 in Detroit. He was a long time member and an usher at St. Gertrude Church, 
a member of the Bruce Post #1146 VFW, and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He 
is survived by his wife of 59 years Marion (Mickey), his children Nancy (Dennis) 
Sobczak, Thomas (Lynne), Don (Sandy), Cindy (John) Kady, Terri Zajac and the 
late Susan; 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sister Eleanor 
Brayboy. Visitation is Tuesday 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-9 p.m. at Kaul Funeral 
Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Rosary is 7 p.m. Wednesday. In 
state Thursday 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. time of the funeral mass at Our Lady of 
Hope Church, St. Gertrude Campus, St. Clair Shores. Interment Resurrection
