Pionk, Leon “Marv”, age 79, born August 24. 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, passed 
away on May 23, 2016 in Shelby Township, Michigan. Loving husband of Shirley. 
Dear father of Kevin (Debbie), Keith (Barbara), Julie (Pat) Hug, Lisa (Doug) 
Burroughs, Scott, and Paul (Richelle). Dear grandfather of 11 grand and two 
great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Elmer (Bernie) Pionk and the late Gerald 
(Jeanette) Pionk. Visitation Thursday 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Scripture Service 
at the Wasik Funeral Home, 49150 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township. Instate 
Friday 9:30 a.m. until time of 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Isidore Catholic 
Church, 18201 23 Mile Road, Macomb Township. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, 
Clinton Township, Michigan. Marv was retired from the Air Force with 26 years 
of experience and a UAW Chrysler Retiree. Expressions of sympathy may be shared
