He left a wife, Isabella whom he met by way of a penpal column in a Hobby Builder's Supply catalog, chatting about dollhouses and miniatures. They struck up a long-distance friendship and after a while, he decided to go visit her. He could only stay about a week and then had to return to Mt. Clemens. After he had gone back home, he realized he wanted to return to Maine and to Isabella and come spring, she came out to Michigan for a few days to help him pack up bag, baggage (and a couple of dollhouses) for the car trip to Auburn, Maine. They were married in 2000 at Moose Point State Park. His interest in building dollhouses turned into a short stint as a co-administrator of a dollhouse museum, and a passion for woodworking, carving and burning. He excelled at fretwork and sold many pieces. He was also a scale model railroader and maintained a membership in a model railroad club for several years. He was a testament to chasing your dreams no matter what stage of life you may be in - because you might actually catch some of them... Additional Comments: Just to let folks in Mount Clemens know what became of one of their native sons.
