Franklin Waite.Born November 26,1840.Died at West Point,Ky.of Measles,November 
18,1861.Age 20 Years-11 Months-23 Days.Enlisted September 27,1861 in CO."A" 
9th Michigan Infantry Regiment.Regiment lost 2 Officers and 22 enlisted 
killed,and 4 officers and 281 enlisted by desease.
