Peter Christofferson immigrated from Denmark about 1866.
In 1886 he married Eliza Craven Formosa Hopwood who was born aboard ship in 
the South China Sea off the coast of the island of Formosa.  Her family 
immigrated to America in 1867.  She and Peter lived around Onekama until his 
death in 1902 when the family moved to Chicago.
