      Died May 13, 2004
      WILLIAMSBURG - Bernard E. Finch, 81, of Williamsburg, died at Bortz 
Health Care on Thursday, May 13, 2004.
      A resident of Williamsburg and formerly of Coloma, he was born in 
Arcadia, the son of Earl and Bell (Thompson) Finch. Bernard married the former 
Elfrida Cole on March 4, 1944.
      Bernard was a retied USDA inspector for the State of Michigan. He was a 
member of Arcadia United Methodist Church and attended the Williamsburg United 
Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. 
He loved to read and truly loved his family, grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
    A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, at the 
Arcadia United Methodist Church, with Rev. Don Russell officiating. Burial will 
take place in Conway Cemetery in Arcadia.
      Memorials may be directed to the Arcadia United Methodist Church.
      Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Homes.
