Harriet E. Clark, 86, of Manistee, died Saturday morning, July 17, 1999 at the 
Manistee Heights Care Center. --- She was born May 8, 1913 in Manistee, the 
daughter of the late Carrie Clark. --- Harriet was a graduate of Manistee High 
School and was an accomplished pianist and violinist, having given lessons on 
both. Far a time she was active in the American Red Cross and the local 
Salvation Army, where she served as an officer. She had formerly attended Holy 
Trinity Episcopal Church and the Manistee Assembly of God. She had a true love 
of the Lord. --- Harriet is survived by several cousins. --- Funeral services 
will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20 at the Johnson Funeral Home, 
with Rev. John M. Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Old Schoolhouse 
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 
time of services. --- Those wanting to remember Harriet are asked to consider 
making a contribution in her memory to the American Red Cross. Envelopes will 
be available at the Funeral Home. --- The Johnson Funeral Home, P.C. of 
Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
