Ebert, 68, of Arcadia, died April 8; McElduff Funeral Homes, Benzonia Chapel. -------------------------------- TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE - 10 Apr. 2003 ARCADIA - Carolyn Ebert, 68, of Arcadia, died Tuesday at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lansing on Sept. 15, 1934, the daughter of Hazel and Walter Neuman. Carolyn attended and graduated from Sexton High School. After high school, she attended Michigan State University and graduated from Ferris Institute in secretarial science. While at Ferris, she met Raymond Ebert and they married on Aug. 22, 1959. They resided in St. Johns, where Carolyn worked as administrative assistant at the Clinton County Courthouse. Upon their retirement, they moved to Arcadia where Carolyn was active in many organizations including her local church, Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia, PEO Chapter FF and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, both in Frankfort. Friends may call on Friday, April 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Benzonia Chapel, McElduff Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia, with Deacon Ted Beiderweiden officiating. Interment will follow in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
