RALPH "JIM" SATTLER, 72, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 at his home in Benzonia. 

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Benzonia 
Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran 
Church in Benzonia with Reverend Bob Bennett officiating. 

The family will receive friends at church from noon until the time of the 
service. 

Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. 

The Benzonia Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Homes & Cremation Service is 
handling the arrangements.

BENZONIA — Ralph "Jim" Sattler, 72, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at his home 
surrounded by his loved ones. 

Born Feb. 2, 1934, in Oviatt, he was the son of the late Ralph Sattler and Lola 
Pettengill. He married Shirley E. Huhnke on Aug. 11, 1956.

Jim loved being outdoors. He found a lot of enjoyment doing various activities, 
from gardening to hunting and fishing. He was a wonderful handyman who had a 
sense of humor and loved a practical joke.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ed.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., at 
the Benzonia Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 
Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 1:30 p.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Benzonia, with 
the Reverend Robert H. Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends at 
church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Pilgrim 
Home Cemetery.
