TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE - 11 June 2003 
 ARCADIA - Erwin B. Stephison, 82, of Arcadia, died Monday evening at Paul 
Oliver Memorial Hospital LTC. Born Oct. 26, 1920, in Clare, he was the son of 
Vernon and Violet (Turner) Stephison.
      Mr. Stephison served his country honorably in World War II, serving with 
the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Pontiac Division of General Motors as an 
electrical supervisor and lived in Arcadia for the past 23 years. He was a 
member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Frankfort and the Manistee VFW.
      He married Dorothy Fisher on June 10, 1943, and she survives. 
      Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 12, at Paul 
Oliver Memorial Hospital LTC, with Father Ray Cotter officiating. Additional 
services will be held at a later date.
      The Frankfort Chapel, McElduff Funeral Homes, assisted the family.
