Sherwood L. 'Butch' Westveer
      Died February 29, 2000
      ARCADIA - Sherwood L. "Butch" Westveer, formerly of Grand Rapids, was 
called unexpectedly by God to end his earthly life of service on Tuesday and 
begin his eternal life with his Lord and Savior.
      Butch was born in Falmouth on April 3, 1938, to Francis and Tressa 
Westveer.
     His father, Francis Westveer proceeded him in death.
The family will be at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel in Grand Rapids from 2 
to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 3. Services will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at Christ Community Church with the Rev. John Tobian officiating. 
Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Arcadia. A memorial service will 
be held at a later date in Arcadia.
      Memorial contributions may be made to Home Care of Holland Home, Arcadia 
Lions Club or Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia.
      Arrangements were handled by Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton S.E., 
Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
