Hiram A. Gale Dies Today --- Funeral services for Hiram A. Gale, 84, life-long 
resident of Manistee county who died this morning, will be held Monday at 2 
p.m. from the Edwards funeral home in Bear Lake. Rev. Tink officiating. Burial 
will be in Pleasanton township cemetery. --- He was born in Manistee Nov. 17, 
1862, and had made his home in the county all his life. --- Surviving him are a 
daughter, Mrs. Hazel Myers of Bear Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Fisk of 
Whitehall, Mrs. Ella Colburn of Benzonia, and Mrs. Lydia Brisson of Honor. He 
also leaves a grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Gale Rites Monday --- Funeral services for Hiram A. Gale, 84, a lifelong 
resident of Manistee county and brother of Mrs. Hattie Fisk of Whitehall, Mrs. 
Ella Colburn of Benzonia and Mrs Lydia Brisson of Honor, were held Monday 
afternoon at the Edwards funeral home at Bear Lake, with burial in Pleasanton 
township cemetery. One daughter, Mrs. Hazel Myers of Bear Lake, survives, 
besides the three sisters and other relatives.
