Mrs. Hazel I. Myers, 89, of Bear Lake died at Manistee County Medical Care 
Facility Thursday, Oct. 6. She was born on July 29, 1894 in Bear Lake, where 
she resided all her life. -- She is survived by her foster son George Myers of 
Empire and several cousins. -- Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband 
John F. Myers in 1979. -- Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at 
the Edwards Funeral Home in Bear Lake, with the Rev. Valerie Hill officiating. 
Burial will be in the Pleasanton Township Cemetery. -- Friends may call this 
evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. -- Funeral arrangements by the Edwards Funeral 
Home of Bear Lake.
