Norma was born April 2, 1950 in Clare, the daughter of Alton "Ross" and Shirley (Brown) Thomson. She was united in marriage to Stepen M. Dole in Coleman on July 10, 1993. She is survived by her husband Steve; her mother Shirley Thomson of Coleman; one brother David Thomson of Clare; three sisters, Kathy Wellman of Grayling, Mary Sattazahn of Lansing, and Karen Thomson of Harrison; several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her Father in 1988 and a brother Ross Thomson in 1980. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at RLDS Church in Coleman, with Elder Rodney Colmus officiating. Interment was in Warren Township Cemetery in Coleman. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
