 OBITUARY: MIDLAND "SUN", December 18, 1924, page 6: 
 
 "Mr. William Searight is seriously ill." 
 MIDLAND "SUN", December 25, 1924, page 8: 
        "The funeral of William Searight was held from the home on Gladwin Street 
 Thursday afternoon.  Rev. Stone officiated.  Mesdames Wrisley and Gardner 
 sang "Some Glad Day" and "Pilot Me."  Flowers were many and beautiful. 
        Those out of town in attendance were:  Mrs. Harriet Wilson of Pontiac, 
 Mr. & Mrs. Howard Holcomb, Mr. & Mrs. Will Cornell, Mr. & Mrs. O. Davis 
 and C. D. Harvey all of Flint, and Mr. & Mrs. Bert Harvey and daughter of 
 Lansing, C. Harvey and Mrs. L. Harvey of Clare, Mrs. John Stevenson of 
 Imlay City."

 OBITUARY:  SUN, January 27, 1927 page 3 
 
 "Mrs. William Searight passed away Wednesday. 
 The funeral was held from the home Saturday 
 afternoon.  Rev. Stone officiating.  Burial in 
 the Coleman cemetery.  Those who attended the 
 funeral from out of the city were:  Bert Harvey, 
 Mr. & Mrs. Howard Holcomb, William Cornell and 
 Bert Brown of Lansing; Mr. & Mrs. Morley Palmenter 
 of Imlay City,  Mr. & Mrs. Carlton Stemple of Saginaw; 
 Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Hicks and daughter.  Mrs. Loren Rawley 
 and son, Frank Cornell, Mr. & Mrs. W. O. Davison and son 
 of Flint;  Rev. and Mrs. L S Davison of Grayling; and 
 Mrs. L. Harvey and son and Carson Harvey of Clare."
