Harvey Grell, 83, of Freeland, died early Tuesday morning, March 30th 2004 at 
Tendercare Nursing Center, Saginaw after a brief illness. 
Harvey was born the son of the late John and Sophia (Reinke) Grell, August 30th, 
1920, in Edenville and had resided in this area all his life. He worked and 
retired from Prestolite, Bay City in 1976. On June 22nd 1946, he married Cecilia 
B Latosky, she survives him. 
Harvey is also survived by two sons, Larry (Ruth) Grell of Hope, and James (Toni) 
Grell of Midland; four grandchildren, Melaney, James II, Melissa and Jessica, one 
great-granddaughter, Chrissy; one sister, Helen Jones of Ontario, California; one 
sister-in-law, Violet Grell; and lots of special family and friends. 
Harvey was also predeceased by two Brothers, Louis and Henry, and two sisters, 
Emma and Lucy. 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday April 2nd, 2004, at the Freeland 
Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. The Reverend Jim Pauquette 
will officiate, with burial to follow in Sanford Cemetery. 
Harvey's family will receive friends at the Freeland Chapel on Thursday from 2 to 
8 p.m. and on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service. Those planning 
an expression of sympathy, envelopes for MidMichigan Hospice/VNA will be 
available at the funeral home.
