Maurer of this County of Monroe and State of Michigan Executor of the last will and testament of Jacob Maurer late of the County of Monroe and State of Michigan deceased, testate, send greeting: Whereas, the said Jacob Maurer in order to enable his said Executorfully to carry into effect his wishes and intentions, did, in and by his last will and testament, authorize and empower his said Executor as follows, to-wit: "I am the owner of certain real estate in Rushville Ill, this oral estate I hereby give my executor hereinafter named full power and authority to sell at any time he may deem it best for the interest of my children and estate. And I hereby authorize him to make such sale without asking any license or authority from any court, and hereby empower and authorize to give and execute proper conveyance or conveyances of the same to the purchaser or purchasers of the same. I hereby appoint my brother, Charles A. Maure, of Monroe Michigan, executor of this my last will and testament and I hereby revoke and declare null and void any and all wills by me heretofore made." Now, therefore, know ye that he the said Charles A. Maurer Executor as aforesaid, by virtue of the power and authority to him given by the said ___________ in the said last will and testament. In consideration of Eighteen hundred dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, and convey to the said Geo. G. Toote his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land lying and being situate in the County of Schuyler and State of Illinois and known and described as follows, to-wit: One hundred and twenty-five (125) feet off the South side of Two hundred and five (205) feet off the North side of Lot Nine (9) of Samuel McCreery's subdivision of Lot Fourteen (14) of William Mauloves addition to the Town, now city of Rushville, except one hundred and forty-five (145) feet off the West end thereof.
