"NICK" ARNIE BURIED MONDAY
  Nicholas Arnie, 88, retired jeweler, died Friday at his home here after a short
illness.  Born September 19, 1858, near Jackson and came to this vicinity when a young man, 
he was married to Miss Nellie Hines about 55 years ago, who died November 27, 1920.  
They had resided at:  this community most of their lives with the exception of time 
spent in Lansing.  He was a member of Calvary United Brethren in Christ church.
  Surviving are a son Clarence and two grandsons at Woodland, and several other
relatives.  Funeral services were held at the Pickens Funeral chapel Monday morning 
and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
