Mr. Bolster had resided in the village something over a year moving here from his farm home near Federman. He was a member of Willam Bell Post G.A.R. Funeral services will be held at home sat at 11:00. Burial in Petersburg Cemetery. 4-4-1977 Dundee, Monroe Co., Michigan Daniel J. Bolster, Jr. died at age 91 made his home with nephew, Mr. & Mrs. *Kenneth Spaulding, 20181 McCarthy Road, Dundee. Buhl Funeral home was in charge of arrangements, burial in Pleasant View Cemetery in Peterburg. Bearers were Donald and Bob Cooley,Danny Bolster, Larry Poley, Wayne Poore and Earnest Spaulding. He was born 11-31-1885 in Ohio, the son of Daniel and Eva Parker Bolster. He married Goldia May Bowman on 5-5-1911 in Ohio. Goldia died on 8-6-1960. He was employed by Union Camp Corp. Monroe from April 1929 until retirerment 10-1-1952. Surviving: a son Emerson of Onsted daughters : Mrs. Harry (Sylvia) Cooley Mrs. Harvey (Arlene) Poley Mrs. George (Albertta) Perry all of Dundee Mrs. Custer (Gladys) Flackler of Monroe Mrs. Joe (Kathryn) Poore of Clinton Mrs. Carl (Mildred) Spaulding of Jasper In additon to his wife he was preceded in death by five children: Athur Clyde Laurabelle Iva Eugene * Kenneth Spaulding was Daniel J. Bolster's Grandson from his daughter Kathryn Lucille Bolster and Leon Edward Spaulding. The newspaper made a Correction on this misake two days later. Mrs. Eva Bolster Appeared in paper 9-6-1940 Dod 9-5-1940 Dundee- Brief services were held on Monday afternoon at Hemenway and Valentine Funeral Home in Petersburg for Mrs. Eva Parker Bolster preceding services at the Church of Christ with Morton Ault officiating. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery at Petersburg. Mrs. Bolster died at the home of her son, Arthur of Petersburg Friday evening. A resident of Dundee for the past 20 years Mrs. Bolster was stricken with pneumonia at the home of her son where she had spent the past 2 months. She was born in Williams Co., PA. and made her home for two years with her granddaughter, Mrs. Harry Cooley of Monroe St., Dundee. She is survived by three sons, Arthur of Petersburg, Daniel of Dundee, and Israel of Canton, Ohio, and one daughter, Mrs. Mae Bishop of Toledo, Ohio. Also leaving 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. dz
