Sunday when the car he was driving ran into the rear of a bus carrying a country music band on I-275 a half-mile north of Will-Carleton RD. in Wayne County. The Dead man was identified as Clyde *D. Bolster Sr., 32, of 14625 Radka Rd., Dundee. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Seaway Hospital, Trenton. Huron Township Police Chief Joseph Carey reported the Bolster car was headed South on I-275 when it ran into the rear of a large bus which was slowing to pull off the road. Chief Carney said that the bus was carrying persons who travel with the country music show of Stella Parton, sister of well-known Dolly Parton.Riding on the bus at the time of the crash were the driver, Tony Atkins, and passengers, Billy Smith, Terry Southern, Walter and Lionel Reeves and Kelly McHone, all of North Carolina. None were hurt. The fuel tank of the bus was broken in the collision, police said, and volunteer fireman from Huron Township hosed down the road. State Police of the Flat Rock assisted in the traffic investigation. Friends may call after 7 P.M. Tuesday in the Buhl Funeral Home, Dundee, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday by Rev. Gary Imms of the Commerce United Methodist Church, Commerce. Mr. Bolster was born in Monroe Jan 22. 1945, to Clyde R. and Nadine ( Frost ) Bolster. He married Judy Mayes Dec. 1, 1961 in St. Paul's United Methodist Church. A lifelong county resident, Mr. Bolster attended Monroe High School and served in the Army from 1961-1965, including two years in Germany, with the 509th Paratroopers. He was employed for 10 years by Ladapa Die and Tool, Inc., Dundee. Later he was employed as a tool and die maker for the Chrysler Corp. plant in Trenton. He was a little league baseball team manager in Dundee for a year. Surviving are his wife, Judy; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Delton Dennis of Monroe; two sons, Mark Daniel and Clyde Daniel II, both at home, Deanna Joan; a sister, Mrs. Julius ( Joan ) Fisher of Monroe; three half-brothers, James and Larry Dennis of Monroe and Lester Bolster of Yakima, Wash, and a half-sister Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips of Yakima. Clyde Daniel Bolster is the son of my Grandma Mildred Irene (Bolster) Spaulding's brother Cyde Raymond Bolster b. 5 Aug. 1919 Petersburg, Monroe Co., Michigan d.8 April 1959 Ontario, Malheur Co., Oregon. Clyde Daniel is buried in London Cemetery on Plamk Rd. in London Township, Monroe Co., Michigan. I have personally put flowers on his grave. *Daniel
