MONROE EVENING NEWS  - JANUARY 24, 1895

Mrs. Betty Blome wife of Herman F. Blome, and oldest daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. George Adam Burck died suddenly yesterday
morning at the farm residence in Monroetown.  She was born in
this city April 1st, 1849, and was married to Mr. Blome March
21st 1878.  They have since resided in Monroetown.  Mrs Blome
leaves a husband and six children with a large circle of
sorrowing friends.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran
church and her remains will be buried from there.
