Obituary - Monroe Evening News - November 14, 1929 (died
November 13, 1929)

MRS. C. J. G. BURCK

Mrs. C. J. G. Burck, age 75 years died suddenly Wednesday
afternoon at 4 o'clock in her home at 311 East Thrid street.

Mrs. Burck before her marriage was Miss Mary Walldorf.  She
was born in Monroe October 19, 1854 and had lived here all her
life.  On September 25, 1877, she married C. J. G. Burck, who
survives her.  They celebrated their golden wedding
anniversary together two years ago.  She also leaves three
sons, Christian A. of Monroe, Edwin of Jackson and Theodore of
Detroit, 11 grandchildren, and one sister Miss Minnie
Walldorf, who makes her home at the Burck residence.

Funeral services will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Henry Frincke
officiating.  Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
