He had been in ill health a year and seriously ill since April. Born Nov 10, 1869 at Newport, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs Adolphus Barron. He Lived in Monroe 35 years and was employed at the Consolidated Paper Co. 23 years before his retirement 12 years ago. He married the former Miss Celine Soncrant Feb 11, 1896, in St. Charles Catholic Church at OIdport. Surviving are his wife, three sons Cletus, Maurice and Bernard, all of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs Mabel Cronenwett of Monroe and Mrs Genevieve Phelan of Chicago; three brothers, Peter of Dearborn and Michael and Henry of Newport; a sister Mrs. George Neidermeier of Newport; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the Allore and Holcomb funeral home and at 9 in St Michael's Church, of which he was a member, with the Rev. Stanley Fedewa officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery at Newport. Mr. Barron also was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Michael's Church. Rosary will be at 8 tonight and tomorrow night in the funeral home.
