Seventh St., Formerly of Dundee, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday in Mercy Hospital, where he had be since Thursday. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Buhl-Cover Funeral Home, Dundee. He will be in state Thursday in Calvary Babtist Church, Dundee, from 1 p.m. until services at 2. Pastor Emeritus John Jackson will officiate and burial will be in Pleasent View Cemetery, Petersburg. Born Aug. 19, 1907, in Monroe, he was the son of Peter and Josephine (Duvall) Cooley. He was married Oct. 12, 1929, to Sylvia D. Bolster of Toledo. She preceded him in death Aug. 17, 1990. Mr. Cooley retired in 1971 after 40 years as a maintenance man at Consolidated Packaging Corp., Southside Plant. He was a member of the Dundee Senior Citizens and Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Robert of Monroe; five daughters, Marjorie Meiers, Evelyn Harmon and Joyce Boudrie, all of Monroe, Mrs. Harold ( Judith ) Brockman of Taylor and Mrs. Robert ( Patricia ) Boudrie of Ida; a foster son, Billy Bracey of Lambertville; a sister, Eleanor Clavinger of Monroe; 25 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, two sisters, two grandsons and a great-granddaughter. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
