At the age of five years she moved with her parents to Michigan where she spent the remainder of her life. Following an illness of many months she passed to the Great Beyond at the home of her daughter on Tuesday evening, January 23rd, where she had been cared for since Oct. 1st. 1922. about one year ago she was taken seriously ill and continued to fail. When the time came she was fully prepared for her final reward. She was the daughter of John K. and Henrietta Wirth., At the age of 18 years she became the wife of Joseph Calhoun. to this union five children were born. The husband, two daughters and one son preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her untimely going away, one daughter, Mrs. Oscar Haner of Milan, one son John and grandson Walter Calhoun, at the farm home in London. ,one sister, Mrs. Charles Smith of Oakville and one brother, John Wirth of Ypsilanti, besides numerous relatives and friends. She was a much devoted mother. A patient sufferer for many years. We'll think of you as one who sleeps And free from grief and pain. And know the happy day will come When we shall meet again. So sleep on, dear mother God knows thy rest He called you home When He thot best. Funeral services were held at the home at one thirty on Friday afternoon, Rev C.E. Edward officiating. Burial in the London cemetary. dz
