Conlisk at her home 822 Harrison street, Sunday evening at 9 o'clock. Mrs. Conlisk had been ill for the past four weeks with heart trouble. The deceased was a kindly lady and was very active up to the time of her illness. She had been a resident of the county all her life and was dearly beloved by all her knew her. She was on of the oldest members of St. John's church and was always active in church work. She was a member of the Ladies' Altar Society of St. John's church. Jane Gildea was born in LaSalle township, April 5, 1842 and fifty-five years ago married John Conlisk, on of the best known farmers of LaSalle township. Mr. Conlisk died January 2, 1901 [sic]. She lived in LaSalle township until 1911, when she moved to Monroe, where she has resided ever since. She leaves to mourn her loss 10 children, who are Mrs. Charles B. Kirby of Monroe, Mrs. Breitner of LaSalle, Mrs. I. Larrow of LaSalle, Clarence L. of Toledo, Burton F. Elkhart, Indiana, Albert L. of Denver, Colorado, Augustus, with the 155th regiment, Philippine Islands, Edward, William C. and Emory, all of Monroe. She also leaves 29 grandchildren and one great grandchild and one brother Jon. B. Gildea of Toledo. The funeral will be held at St. John's church Wednesday morning at nine o'clock and the remains will be buried in the Cooney cemetery in LaSalle township.
