Jan 02 - Charles Cunningham was struck by a city bus and fatally injured Thursday afternoon at 2:20 when he was returning from work. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital where he died at 11:20 p.m.. The accident occured at the corner of Bancroft and Monroe Streets. Charles Cunningham was born in Frenchtown Township January 21, 1888, the son of the late: Henry and Delia Cunningham. He is survived by: Three sisters, Mrs. Stephen Ankenbrandt of Detroit, Mrs. Ernest LeSage of Toledo with whom he had made his home the last seven years, and Mrs. Clare Thomson of San Diego, California; two brothers, Albert of Syracuse, New York, and William F. Cunningham of Rockwood. Charles at one time was employed by his brother William. There are several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Acker Funeral Home, Toledo, where it will remain until the services Monday at 10 a.m. at Collingwood cathedral, Toledo.
