Creighton, 101, of Detroit, a former Detroit school teacher, died ofcomplications of a stroke Monday, Feb. 17, 1992, in the Bedford Villa nursing home, Detroit. "My grandmother . . . taught school in a one-room classroom and rode her horse and buggy down Woodward," said a granddaughter, Gail Creighton Lobanoff. At 94, Mrs. Creighton still rode a bus to her hair appointments. Surviving are one daughter, Laurette C. Toomey; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great- grandchildren. Graveside services were scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today in Acacia Park Cemetery, Birmingham. Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Funeral Home, Royal Oak, is in charge of arrangements.
