M Walldorf Week by week the band of poineers becomes smaller and smaller as one by one they are called to answer the last summons. Thursday noon Mrs. E. B. Waldorf (sic) partook of the noonday meal and then went for a walk. She had been absent but a few moments when she suffered a stroke of apoplexy from which she never recovered and passed away Tuesday at 4 o'clock without gaining consciousness. Eva Barbara Holzman was born April 29, 1825 in Bavaria and was deprived of her parents by death when she was but thirteen years of age. In 1847 she left her native home and came to America with some friends and settled in Monroe. In 1848 she was united in marriage to John G. Reingruber. This union was blessed by four children. Mr. Reingruber died in the year 1860. On Nov. 20, 1862 she was united in marriage to Ludwig Walldorf, who died Feb 11, 1886. As a result of this union three sons were born, one of them dying at the age of 13 months. From the time of her husbands death until 1898 she lived with her youngest son after which she resided with her daughter Mina Kaemlein of Trenton till the time of her death, which occurred at the ripe old age of 78 years, four months, 23 days. The following are the names of the children who survive their mother, Mrs. F. Keifendorf of Milwaukee, Mrs. William Kaemlein of Trenton, Adam Reingruber of Toledo, Fred C. Walldorf of Trenton Will F. Walldorf of Chattanooga, Tenn. The funeral service were (sic) held from Trinity Lutheran Church of which she was a member yesterday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. H. Frincke officiating. jic
